The SH ARC-PCMCIA ARCNET card links laptops and other computers with the help of a PCMCIA interface to the ARCNET bus.
The SH ARC-PCMCIA corresponds with the PCMCIA 2.1 and the PC card standard type 1. The ARCNET bus connection is located separately in the unit interface module. It is connected via a shielded cable to the SH ARC-PCMCIA. Both, interface module and also the PCMCIA card are housed in a solid metal casing.
